Another highly successful Charlotte Pass Juniors Camp just held, great times were had.

How many young skiers can compete in two XC races in one morning, classic and freestyle relay, in gale force winds with raging gusts? Apparently, nearly 350 school children from Kindergarten-age through Year 12, with their families and friends hanging on to support them. These were the conditions on Friday 6 September for the Snow Australia National Interschools XC Championships at Blue Cow.

Less than half an hour after Sean'Hope "Seanie" Craig wound up her Interschools journey in her final Division 1 race, she had donned a high-vis vest and was down assisting the cross country officials at Blue Cow to get the following relay events underway.

2024 Regional and State Interschools Snowsports Championships have been and gone with National Interschools scheduled for this week, come sun, rain or snow!
Interschools events have now been around long enough to have become an ubiquitous part of winter for almost everyone with any kind of involvement in NSW snowsports, one way or another. In fact, it has been around long enough for early Interschools competitors to be now enrolling their own children in the competition.
